AT HOME Program (Activities Travel to the Homes of Manchester Elders)
This program is designed for seniors who do not get out often, but would enjoy one-to-one visits from a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Each one-hour visit is customized to suit the interests of the participant and may include social, physical and creative activities. AT HOME is offered free of charge.
Senior Circle
Do you know anyone who might be interested in the Senior Circle? It is a small, family-like group that meets at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays under the friendly and enthusiastic leadership of Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Nina Stramaglia. Members enjoy a variety of activities including crafts, gentle exercise, reminiscing, and current events, as well as having lunch together. This is not a drop in program; pre-registration is required. Please call Sue Bernstein or Nina Stramaglia at 647-3211 for more information.
AARP Driver's Education
Thursday & Friday, November 13th & 14th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Driver's Education classes will take place in the Card Room both days. The fee for this program is $10.00 and required at the time of registration. This is our last class for the winter. Check the Newsletters for our Spring Schedule in the new year.
AARP Manchester Members Chapter 1275
Tuesday, November 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 585 East Center St., Manchester, Ct. Our guest will be a representative from CL&P who will talk about the current status of the utility company. This will be followed by bingo with prizes for the winners. AARP TAX-AIDE

Senior Hoopsters
The Senior Hoopsters are our over 55 basketball team. Players are Manchester residents and members of the Senior Center. Senior Basketball 55+ is looking for a few good men or women. Come and get some good old-fashion exercise while meeting other people who share the same love for basketball. The Senior Hoopsters meet at the Community Y on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club meets every Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Valentino's Restaurant,471 Hartford Road. Members of the club eat breakfast and have a good time getting to know each other over casual conversation.
