Senior Citizen Health Clinics & Classes
In order to promote and maintain wellness among senior citizens, the Health Department offers free health programming and screenings for all town residents 60 years of age and older.
Blood Pressure Screenings are offered every Wednesday at the Senior Center, located at 549 East Middle Turnpike in Manchester, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. No appointment is necessary. One Thursday each month, Blood Pressure Screenings are held at some of the elderly housing sites in Manchester.
Individual health counseling services, such as fall assessments and referral services are also offered. Please call the Geratriic Clinic Nurse/Health Education Coordinator,at 647-3173 for an appointment.
Senior Foot Care is offered a couple of Fridays each month. Services are $27/cash only. Call the Health Department at 647-3173 to schedule an appointment.
Vaccinations for Flu and Pneumonia are offered in the Fall of each year for a nominal charge.

Medicare Part B and HealthNet/SmartChoice are the only insurances accepted. MUST bring MEDICARE or HEALTHNET/SMARTCHOICE (Medicare HMO) card with you.

Fees may be scaled according to income for Manchester residents
Unable to vaccinate pregnant women.
