Health Programs and Social Work Services

 

Do you or your loved one have problems with low vision? Learn what you can do to help yourself or your loved one with low vision by attending our monthly Low Vision Support Group. Are you the caregiver for an elderly person?  Would you like to share advice and experiences with other caregivers? Come join us for our monthly Caregiver Support Group. This program is for caregivers of all ages who live in Manchester or care for elderly family members who live in Manchester.  Caregivers are welcome to join at any time, and may attend sessions when convenient.  

The Senior Center Social Worker, Sue Bernstein, and Senior Center Nurse Cathy Drouin are available by appointment to help with many of your health and personal needs.  If you have questions about health insurance, home care, ConnPACE, or anything of a personal nature, consultation with Sue Bernstein, the Senior Center Social Worker, is available by appointment on Mondays or Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m or with Erin McGovern on Wednesdays or Fridays, 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

If you have questions about Blood Pressure, Fall Risk Assessment, or have concerns about your health in general, health consultation with Cathy Drouin, Senior Center Nurse is available by appointment on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
